The pairs matter more than the singles. Puppy and bear sit next to each other on softness but split on structure — puppy is soft and small-boned, bear is soft and broad-boned. Cat and fox both have upturned, angular geometry, but a cat face is compact and a fox face is elongated with more visible cheekbone. Bunny and deer share large eyes and split entirely on face length: bunny is short and round, deer is long and narrow. If your result surprised you, the animal it surprised you away from is almost certainly your second place.
How to read your own face in the mirror
Stand in front of a window with neutral light and a blank expression — smiling changes half of these signals. Then check four things in order.
Eye corners first. Draw an imaginary line from inner corner to outer corner. Tilting up means cat or fox. Level or tilting down means puppy, bear or deer. Very round and wide-open with visible white below the iris means bunny.
Face length second. Measure roughly how many eye-widths fit across your face, then compare with the distance from hairline to chin. Wider than long reads bunny or bear. Noticeably longer than wide reads deer or fox. Close to balanced reads puppy or cat.
Cheek volume third. Press lightly under your cheekbone. Full padding that lifts when you smile is bunny or puppy. Even padding that does not shift much is bear. A hollow you can feel under a high cheekbone is fox. Flat with the bone edge visible is cat.
Jaw and chin last. Trace from the corner of your jaw to your chin point. A rounded curve is puppy or bunny; a straight diagonal to a sharp point is fox; a narrow slim taper is cat or deer; a broad angle with a wide chin is bear.
Three of four features pointing the same way is a clear type. Two and two means you are a genuine hybrid, which is the most common outcome — most faces borrow from a neighbour.
Is it accurate?
It is accurate about the features you report and nothing more. Self-assessment is the weak link, which is why the mirror instructions above exist.
Two other honest limits. Your face changes what it reads as depending on weight, age, hairstyle, glasses and even how much you slept — a bunny result at nineteen often drifts toward cat or fox by thirty as facial fat redistributes. And the framework was built around East Asian facial proportions, so some feature clusters map cleanly onto other face structures and some do not.
